Taxi Service in Morris Plains, NJ — 24/7 Cabs, Station Rides & Newark from $99
Morris Plains turns one hundred in 2026. The borough was incorporated on 15 January 1926, and it is still recognisably the same kind of place: a compact town strung along a railway line, just north of Morristown, with the station at its heart.
Our base at 512 Logan Drive in Landing is about thirteen road miles to the west. Most of our work in Morris Plains is to do with that railway and with Newark — getting people to trains and planes without leaving a car behind.
Morris Plains taxi and car service fares
Agreed on the phone and held to — no meter running up Speedwell Avenue and no surge when a train is late and everyone wants a ride at once.

Tolls and tax are not included and are added at the end of the trip. Gratuity is at your discretion. We tell you the toll cost up front.
The station at Speedwell and Littleton
Morris Plains station stands where Speedwell Avenue meets Littleton Road, on NJ Transit’s Morristown Line, with trains to Newark, Hoboken and New York. North of the centre, Route 53 becomes Tabor Road and runs right alongside the tracks, so much of the borough is laid out around the line.
That makes our station work simple and regular: a car to the platform in the morning, and a car waiting in the evening when it is raining or the walk home is longer than it looks after a long day. Give us the train and we will be there when it arrives.
Where Morris County’s corporate era began
In 1947 Warner-Lambert — the Listerine company — moved its headquarters from Brooklyn to Morris Plains. It was the first corporate head office to relocate to Morris County, years before the office parks that now line the interstates. The campus was later used in turn by Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Honeywell.
The corporate traffic is still a part of what we do: visitors flying into Newark for meetings, staff needing a car to a client site, and evening runs back to the hotels along Route 10. Billing to a company account is available.
Greystone: a hospital that shaped the town
On 17 August 1876 the state opened a new asylum here to relieve overcrowding in Trenton. Built for 350 patients, Greystone Park grew until at its peak it held more than 7,700. The great original building stood on the hill for well over a century until it was demolished in 2015; the state psychiatric hospital continues in newer buildings.
For a taxi it means one more reason people need a quiet, reliable ride — families visiting, staff on shifts that do not match the buses, and appointments where arriving on time and without fuss matters.
The route we drive to Newark Airport
From Morris Plains to EWR is about 25 miles. We go down Speedwell Avenue into Morristown, then I-287 south and NJ-24 east, or use Route 10 and I-287 from the south of the borough.
- Before 6:00 AM — about 35 minutes.
- 7:00 to 9:30 AM — allow 55 minutes; Speedwell Avenue into Morristown is the slow part.
- 4:00 to 7:00 PM — 55 to 60 minutes, with terminal traffic at the end.
Leave three hours before a domestic flight departing before 9 AM, and three and three-quarters for international.

Booking a taxi in Morris Plains
Call (973) 306-7075 at any hour. For the station, tell us the train. For a business pickup, the building on American Road or Route 10 and the name on the booking. For home, the street is enough.
If you commute on the same trains every week, a standing booking saves calling every morning.
Morris Plains to New York City
On a weekday the Morristown Line from this station is hard to beat. For a late show, a group of three or four, or a day with luggage, direct is from $165 one-way with tolls added at the end — and it drops you at the door, not at Penn Station.
Late trains and early mornings
We dispatch twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The rides we are most often asked for here are at the edges of the day — a pre-dawn airport run, and the last trains in from the city when the station is quiet and the walk is dark.
A booked car is assigned before you leave, so there is no standing on the platform refreshing an app.
Local fares around Morris Plains
Short trips are quoted flat before you get in: into Morristown, across to Parsippany and its hotels, over to Denville, or up Tabor Road towards Mount Tabor.
Why book us instead of a rideshare app
A fixed fare set at booking. A car assigned ahead, which is what makes a 5 AM airport run reliable. A driver who knows which side of the tracks you mean. And no surge when a train is delayed and the whole platform tries to get a ride at the same moment.
Groups, weddings and occasions
A Sprinter van seats up to twelve — a centennial celebration, a wedding party, or a family going to the airport together in one vehicle instead of three. For weddings we keep to the timings and arrive early.
Coming home to Morris Plains from the airport
Book the return with the outbound trip. With the flight number we track the landing, so a delay does not cost you the car or change the fare.
Our Fleet Includes:
- Luxury sedan — up to three passengers with luggage.
- Executive SUV — up to six passengers, room for extra bags.
- Sprinter van — up to twelve passengers for groups and events.
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicle — available on request when you book.
